| Timothy McNamara, Guest Speaker at Mediation
Works Incorporated: Divorce Mediation Training Program. Timothy McNamara of New England
Divorce Solutions was the featured Guest Speaker at Mediation Works Incorporated Divorce
Mediation Training Program in April, 2008.
MWI's Divorce Mediation Training Program is a comprehensive twenty-four hour divorce
mediation training designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to
become effective divorce mediators through demonstrations, presentations, exercises,
written materials and role-plays. This program is offered each April for mediators who
have completed at least 30-hours of mediation training and are interested in incorporating
divorce mediation into their practice.
Timothy educated the class of 24 on topics including financial issues during divorce,
alimony, retirement, sale of a primary residence and tax basis.
The participants left more informed about divorce finance, tax issues for divorce
couples and when to refer clients to a certified divorce financial analyst said Josh Hoch,
a lead trainer and Director of Mediation Services at MWI. Participants had the following
to say:
- Timothy is very knowledgeable and informative.
- Excellent presenter.
- Provided very helpful information and its great to have
all the information on the printed material.
- I will encourage all of my divorce clients to speak with
New England Divorce Solutions.
- He identified the key tax and financial issues mediators
need to be aware of.
- I would have liked to hear him speak for a whole day.
