Speaker at Mediation Works Incorporated: Divorce Mediation Training Program. Timothy
McNamara of New England Divorce Solutions was the featured Guest Speaker at Mediation
Works Incorporated Divorce Mediation Training Program in April, 2008.
MWI's Divorce Mediation Training Program is a comprehensive twenty-four hour divorce
mediation training designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to
become effective divorce mediators through demonstrations, presentations, exercises,
written materials and role-plays. This program is offered each April for mediators who
have completed at least 30-hours of mediation training and are interested in incorporating
divorce mediation into their practice.
Timothy educated the class of 24 on topics including financial issues during divorce,
alimony, retirement, sale of a primary residence and tax basis.
The participants left more informed about divorce finance, tax issues for divorce
couples and when to refer clients to a certified divorce financial analyst said Josh Hoch,
a lead trainer and Director of Mediation Services at MWI. Participants had the following
to say:

Tim McNamara as a speaker
Our founder, Tim McNamara,
will be a speaker at the 5th annual Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP)
conference: The Changing Landscape of Divorce. This conference will be held in New
Rochelle, New York on September 28. Tim will be speaking about How to Develop a
Successful Divorce Financial Planning Practice. The mission of the ADFP is to heighten
awareness of the benefits of divorce financial planning so it will become an integral part
of the divorce process. |
